Dancer.
Mover.
Improvisor.
A collection of spontaneous moments
I am a firm believer that Improvisation is in the everyday. We move, think, and do improvisationally. Everything occurs at random. On a whim.
About Me.
Dancing onstage,
outside,
in the kitchen.
Corinne is dancing everywhere.

Education
2022
Seattle Festival of Dance and Improvisation
The week long intensive provided Corinne with the tools to listen to herself while improvising. To pay attention to her breath and honor how her body feels. She was able to take classes from groups G^2, Slow Danger, and Meg Foley.
2019
Katie Duck
FREAKATONI WITCHY WEEKENDS
The Improvisation Summer course Amsterdam solidified Corinne's devotion towards improvisation. She learned the techniques of real-time performance and instant composition.
The teachings of Katie Duck has inspired Corinne's own work.
2017-2021
Indiana University
Dance BFA
During her collegiate career, Corinne performed in numerous works led by artists such as Selene Carter, Erik Abbot-Main, Liz Shea, and Beatrice Capote; including the role of ‘Sara’ in Twayla Tharp’s first re-staging of "Deuce Coupe.”
2021- Corinne founded her first Improvisation movement class.
With an emphasis on play and individual choices, participants were asked to explore new forms of movement. Sitting, walking, and poses eventually lead to patterns of dance. Corinne’s class is heavily inspired by the community in the room. Each participant is an influence to another and together they create the performance. Corinne uses improvisational scores and games to lead her instruction. Her space will always be a safe and sound experimental playground!
